AUXeCAP adds new CODAP Revision 2020 Chapter C12.2 for strength verification of vertical vessel equipped with a U jacket shell for heating or cooling the unit.
The description of an equipment now allows the qualification of enclosures (interior and exterior jacket) and the information of the simultaneous pressure and temperature conditions of the study cases.
Additional parameterized elements, jacket shell and head, have been introduced. Compared to the classical elements, these have additional dimensional characteristics to define the connection(s) to the elements of the main enclosure.
Finally, and as usual, a detailed calculation document logs the required verifications with references and formulas extracted from the code.
